Dematerialization is the process by which a BO can get his physical securities converted into electronic form. The BO submits a request to the DP in the Dematerialization Request Form (DRF) along with the certificates. The DP verifies the information on the DRF and physical certificates and enters the details in the system to setup a request electronically.
